Research Exposure-cum-Training Programme for Students from North-Eastern States and UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh under INSPIRE Scheme of Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India focuses on training the talented youth from the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura (North-Eastern States), UT’s of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh for pursuing research career in frontier areas of Science Technology and Innovation. Recognizing the excellent infrastructure and the translational research capabilities, International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy & New Materials (ARCI), Hyderabad, an autonomous R & D Centre of Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, will host the training program pertaining to the “Engineering Sciences” stream. In view of the above, ARCI is planning to host a total of 15-25 students as the first batch (2023) of students of the selected regions (as mentioned above).
