PUBLIC NOTICE

SMATEE 2026 THIRD ROUND CHOICE-FILLING cum ALLOTMENT: This is to inform all eligible candidates of the State Medical and Technical Entrance Examination (SMATEE) 2026, that the Third Round Choice-Filling cum allotment of various technical and medical health-allied courses under the Mizoram State Quota is scheduled to be conducted in OFFLINE mode on merit based on the scheduled date provided below.

All eligible and willing candidates to participate are required to appear in person at the Technical Wing Office, Chaltlang, Aizawl, at 10:30 AM sharp for the Third Round Choice-Filling cum seat allotment and document verification. Failure to attend on time may result in the loss of opportunity to claim a seat in the SMATEE 2026 allotment.

Candidates who were already allotted seats in the First Round and Second Round Choice-Filling of SMATEE 2026 and wish to upgrade or change their allotted courses in this Third Round is required to bring their allotment letter and the payment receipt for their security deposit.

SCHEDULE FOR THIRD –ROUND CHOICE-FILLING cum ALLOTMENT:

  1. Reporting Date    :     17th August, 2026. (Monday)
  2. Reporting time     :     10:30 AM Sharp.

Original Documents Required for Verification of Candidates who did not report in the First Round and Second Round:

      (1)  Birth Certificate                                            (2)  HSLC Certificate and Marksheet

      (3)  HSSLC Certificate and Marksheet               (4)  Class XI marksheet or Progress Report Card

      (5)  ST Certificate (For ST Permanent)                (6)  Residential Certificate of Mizoram

      (7)  SMATEE 2026 Admit card                          (8)  Parent’s Voter ID (Both father & mother)

      (9)  Aadhaar card/ PAN card                             (10) Migration Certificate from MBSE/CBSE

     (11) Security Deposit (₹ 5000/- only)                  

     (12) Parents’ appointment letter for Category-3 and Category-4, if their parents are regular Govt. employee / Permanent Residential Certificate issued by Deputy Commissioner of the District.

 It is also hereby announced that the unclaimed seats reserved for Categories III and IV have been reverted to the ST permanent residents' quota. Specifically, 2 seats for the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture at the College of Agriculture, Iroisemba, Manipur (CAU) and 1 seat for B.Sc. Nursing at RIMS, Imphal, Manipur, in accordance with the Mizoram (Selection of Candidates for Higher and Technical Courses) (Amendment) Rules, 2021, dated 31 May, 2021, which clearly states that unclaimed seats shall be reverted to Category I / ST Permanent residents Category. 

These seats remain unclaimed through both the First and Second Rounds of Choice-Filling and allotment processes.
